South Africa here we come on our Safari or Hunting Vacation Holiday. So whats stopping you?
For most people, it's trusting what you read and believe or its visiting somewhere you have not been before, like in South Africa. It could be that you're a first time traveller out of your own country.
Let start here, this is where my wife my children and family live, Limpopo South Africa. Limpopo is easy to get to, its safe and stable. From North America, Australia and Europe you can fly a couple of different ways.
From your home State within the USA you fly into Atlanta then board a direct flight to Johannesburg (Delta). Most International Airports within the USA to Dubai and onto Johannesburg with Emirate Airlines. From Australia most domestic airports to Sydney then direct to Johannesburg with Qantas or Virgin Airlines. Most European International Airports go via to London, Amsterdam to Johannesburg.
All clients then connect with a flight from Johannesburg Domestic Airport (located within the International airport you arrived) to Polokwane International Airport.
We suggest you spend a night in Johannesburg Airport, staying at the Southern Sun Hotel its safe and within 5 minutes of the airport on a free shuttle ride. This way you get to retrieve your luggage, clear customs and immigration and importantly recover from your flight. You get to shower, eat, sleep, and if there's any drama with your luggage you have some time for it to arrive. Next morning after breakfast you catch the free shuttle leaving every 15 minutes and check in at the domestic airport on your pre-booked ticket and fly to Limpopo.
Arriving into Limpopo at Polokwane Airport we will meet and greet you. We transport you to our hunting lodge camp, a 90 minute drive.
Yes, you do require a firearm permit, if you are bringing your own firearm into South Africa...we can assist you with that process. We do have rifles for Plains Game and Dangerous Game hunting with ammunition available for hire at a very reasonable rate. You must check with your airline re the "requirements or policies" regarding Firearms, Archery or Crossbow equipment before booking. your flight and ticket. Some transit airports have different requirements and laws.
