Deer Hunting
I purchased my Mule Deer Hunting Adventure in the Eastern Plains of Colorado at an Australia SCI annual dinner. I sent a email with my details to Dan at Kiowa Creek Outfitters in Colorado and we talked on the phone about the Mule Deer and Eastern Plains Elk hunt as well.

From Australia to Colorado was a daunting thought as this was my first of many international Hunting Safaris in North America - Kiowa Creek Outfitter, Dan made me feel right at home and that everything would fit into place - he helped me apply for tags and when you take into account we don't have tags for hunting in Australia - well Dan helped me through that process.

I was unsuccessful in drawing a tag for Mule Deer and Elk but not worry Dan had a yearly number of land owner tags available! Wow how great was that! Arrangements were made... I was picked up from Denver while my family spent some time sightseeing the wonderful sights that Denver and Colorado have to offer.

It was a short trip to the hunt camp ranch - I had a truly great experience and really enjoyed the comradeship of Dan and Danny. I ended up with a great 6x7 Mule Deer and Eastern Plains Elk. The following year I came back for an Eastern Plains Antelope hunt and again Dan guided me to a big Antelope but that's another story - keep your eye out for that story in Texas Trophy Hunter Magazine
